Benjamin's teacher asked me if I would be willing to bring the baby to his classroom after he/she is born so they could all see a new baby and what it does. I was talking about this at the dinner table tonight and Benjamin lit up! He immediately said, "Can I take the baby to school??" And I told him he could.
Then he said, "It's going to be a boy! And you know what we will name him? It's something we use to make a salad! We're going to call him Celery!" (Benjamin has been on a big kick about naming the baby Celery for quite a while now!)
"What if it's a girl?" Scott and I both asked him.
"Ugh!" he groaned in an aw-man-do-I-have-to-have-a-sister? kind of way! He thought for a minute and said, "I'd rather just have a truck!"
