"When you sing, you pray twice" is a saying that I saw on my friend Alex's guitar case or somewhere one time. Now she has a beautiful voice so it's definitely true in her case. I, on the other hand, am getting a big chuckle out of the naivety of my sweet child John Stephen. Scott and I tuck the boys into bed every night and then I sing them a song, poor things. Over the last week or so, John Stephen has started saying "Amen" at the end of every song. He must think my voice is so angelic! ha!
Tonight I actually did sing them a prayer. It's the Lord's Prayer the way we sang it at our church in San Diego. It ends with "amen" being sung three times in an increasingly higher pitch. John Stephen sang right along with me in his true chorister style!
