We ate blue crabs tonight while at the beach. They were delicious and a great treat. If you have never eaten them, they are usually served as a whole crab whose body is about 4 inches across plus the legs, which are only a few inches also. We showed Benjamin, who was raised on Alaska King Crab, the crab and the first thing he said was, "Why's it so small??" Oh, our poor boy has been spoiled for life!

Yes, these Alaska babies are quite spoiled...when we moved to Indiana, Jake looked at the small pond at the front of our neighborhood and asked "why aren't there any Orca whales in there?".
