I want to go to school NOW!

Scott started his first day of grad school at Purdue today. The boys and I were sitting at the table as Scott kissed all of us good-bye and headed out the door. "Daddy's going to school," I said. Poor Benjamin's bottom lip began to quiver and then the tears came as he realized Daddy was going to school and he wasn't. It was the saddest thing I've ever seen. This time it wasn't a "I miss Daddy" kind of upset. Benjamin was devastated that he couldn't go to school himself right then. And I think I heard, "I want to go to school right now!" about a hundred times throughout the day. It's going to be a long week waiting for school to start next Monday but I'm glad Benjamin is so excited.
