Where are we?

We took the "fast ferry" to Juneau today for Scott's graduation. Benjamin was so excited to be on the big boat and had a million questions. He walked around and checked out everything. Then he saw a life ring hanging on the deck so we had to discuss that in great depth. I told him it was to help save somebody if they fell in the water. As always, his response was, "Why?"

So I went on to tell him we use it for emergencies. "What kind of emergency?" he asked.

I said, "If someone falls in the water, they are in danger."

"We're not in danger. Are we in Sitka?" he said, just to make sure.
