Muskeg Mess

This is not so much a funny quote from Benjamin but just a funny thing that happened to him, poor guy!

It was a gorgeous day today so we loaded up the whole family and went for a walk along the Muskeg Trail at the end of the road. Muskeg is mushy, lumpy, mossy ground so most of the trail has a nice boardwalk area to walk on. The view is spectacular with the surrounding mountains so I decided to set up the camera and take a family picture. Everybody was posed nicely but I guess Buck needed a little more space so he just bumped Benjamin right over the edge. Benjamin literally did a flip into the squishy mud. I was a good mother this time and helped him out of the slime and cleaned him up. I so wanted to take a picture of him flailing in the bog! I could tell he wasn't hurt and it was just too funny! Instead I will post the one family picture I did get, an example of the muddy stuff, and the aftermath of the fall. Just imagine the mud dripping off his arms and up the back of his head. Poor Benjamin could only say, "I don't want to be muddy!"
