I woke up this morning with my sweet little Benjamin kissing my lips. He's been on a kick of doing this lately so how can I complain, even though it was 4:45 AM! And yes, he was up for the day... darn sunshine! I dozed back off and Benjamin arrived again a few minutes later, saying, "Look at me, Mommy! Look at me, Mommy!" So I pried one eye open and there was Benjamin dressed in a red sweater, red pants, and red shoes all topped off with a bright green washcloth on his head. He proudly announced, "I'm a strawberry, Mommy!!" I couldn't help but laugh. How cute is he?!
Benjamin often dresses himself in the morning before I am fully functional. He has quite an interesting sense of style! One time he appeared in all blue and I told him he looked like a big blueberry. Apparently he took that as a compliment! He has chosen a similar outfit several times since. I guess today he wanted to branch out a little bit!
