Every night Scott and I put the boys to bed together. We say prayers with them, then I sing a song or two (poor things!) The prayer is the traditional "Now I lay me down to sleep..." prayer. Then we add on "God bless Mommy, Daddy, etc. and list our family members. After that we all say something for which we are thankful. Tonight Scott decided we should also add praying for someone. He didn't give much explanation to Benjamin, he just asked if there was anyone special he thought might need some prayers. Benjamin thought for about half a second and said, "Mommy's brand new baby!"
Oh, these are the times my heart just melts!
