This is Teacher Appreciation Week at Benjamin's school. There is something special each day and today was Flower Day and each child was supposed to bring in a single flower to create a large bouquet. As one of the room moms, I provided the vase to hold all the flowers. I must admit it was pretty cute!
This is the report I received when Benjamin came home from school today:
"Did Miss Bailey receive lots of nice flowers?" I asked.
"Yes!" he told me. "No one wanted to know who made the vase."
"Well, that's okay," I said.
"But I told them anyway!" he said with a big smile.
"Were you proud that your mom made the cute vase?" I asked.
"Mmm hmm!" Benjamin said with confidence.
