Benjamin and John Stephen both go to choir at our church. While everyone is gathering, they work on a coloring sheet pertinent to what's going on in the church year. Today they had a sheet with St. George on it. They didn't finish at choir so they brought it home and were working on it while I cooked dinner. This is the conversation I heard as they colored.
"Do you think St. George is famous?" John Stephen asked.
"Yes!" Benjamin answered, as if it was completely obvious.
"Is he on the famous list?" John Stephen continued to question.
"There is no famous list!" Benjamin adamantly told him.
"Then how do people know he's famous?" John Stephen wanted to know.
"We just know it. Famous people do stuff and somebody writes it down." Benjamin explained.
"Well, if there isn't a famous list, where do they write it?" John Stephen asked still trying to figure it all out.
"You know, like in a biography or something," Benjamin began to tell him. "You could write it down yourself if you want. That's called an autobiography. Sometimes it's really good to write an autobiography because you know more about what happened since you were actually there."
