I went to John Stephen's school today to help out while one of the teachers was out. What perfect timing because his teacher told me a wonderful story that happened today. She said they were playing the silence game where everybody had to be a quite as they possibly could so they could listen for sounds. After listening in silence, the teacher went around the room and asked each child what they had heard. Some said birds, cars, airplanes, other kids, etc.
"What did you hear, John Stephen?" Ms. Cathi asked.
"God!" John Stephen answered.
"And what did God say?" she asked.
"He said He was the strongest person in the world!" John Stephen told her.
I was so touched by this and so proud of my sweet boy. I asked him about it later to see if he would have the same answer.
He elaborated by saying, "God is the strongest person in the whole world! He is so strong that He could even lift up our house! He doesn't have to though because it's on the ground and that's fine."
