Tying shoes

"We're leaving now. Please go find your shoes and put them on," I said to Benjamin, expecting him to grab his brown velcro strap shoes.

"No, I'm going to get my shoes with shoelaces and I'm going to tie them ALL BY MYSELF!" he told me.

And that is just what he did! Ms. Teresa taught him how to do it this morning at school and he picked it right up. Apparently, I did not have the teaching skill for this one.

He was so proud of himself and announced, "You will NEVER have to tie my shoes for me AGAIN!"
