Currently, there are miscellaneous parts from new and past Halloween costumes all over my living room. I was trying to sneak in a few minutes of creating while the boys were napping today. I was comparing Benjamin's bald eagle costume from last year to John Stephen's blackbird costume for this year when they woke up. I was helping John Stephen in the bedroom when Benjamin came back in and announced, "Mommy, I have my eagle socks on! These eagle socks are kind of like the ones you wear with your fancy shoes when you have a date with Daddy. They stay together and cover your underwear. I love my eagle socks!"Finally, after much dress up fun in the full eagle costume, I was able to wrangle Benjamin out of the "eagle socks". He came back to me later and said, "Mommy, I need some socks to cover my whole legs and protect my underwear from my pants."
