We left our home in Sitka on Tuesday and are now spending three days on a ferry called the Columbia as we travel through Alaska's Inside Passage. This trip to Bellingham, WA is the first leg of our round-about journey to Indiana. The boys love the big boat and are having a great time. The first morning we woke up Benjamin immediately looked out the window and said, "We're far, far away. We're far, far away." Today, he has peeked out the window several times and announced, "That's a whole lot of water!" He's completely fascinated! And he's right; unfortunately, Sitka is now far, far away and we have definitely passed through a whole lot of water!
